Inspired by the “brain in a vat” thought experiment, where experiences are simply figments in a disembodied brain, Proxy leaves the repetitious, unexamined world, to discover what lies behind the veil of the reality accepted as truth.
It's that time of year again! Join Crash Dance Productions for 4 days of contemporary dance technique, improvisation, and repertoire at the Cowles Center in downtown Minneapolis. Participants will work alongside the company to learn pieces from Crash’s repertoire, culminating in a showing for friends and family at the JSB TekBox.
CDP2 is a pre-professional contemporary dance company for teen and adult dancers. CDP2 members will be selected through audition, then will have weekly class and rehearsals at Straightline Dance Fitness in Northeast Minneapolis. Dancers will train in CDP’s unique contemporary aesthetic, and learn repertory that will be performed at various shows throughout the year.
Inspired by principles of phenomenology, universal laws, existentialism, and determinism, You Are Here seeks to identify the fleeting, reflective conscious under lenses of the past and the future.

We offer advanced and pre-professional levels. Advanced is recommended for pre-teen and dancers under age 16. Pre-professional is recommended for adult dancers (17+).
